Insurance for IYN from Bordengate
The Independent Yoga Network (IYN) was founded in 2004 when a number of teacher training schools came together to respond to an attempt by the fitness industy to dominate Yoga by determining who can and who cannot teach it. We felt very strongly that Yoga should not be controlled by interests that know nothing of it and sought to organise ourselves so that such a senario should not materialise. In 2008, some 26 Teacher Training Schools have joined and a couple of hundred teachers.
